About the game
I have been working for over a year on a hardcore deckbuilder roguelike called ColoRogue.
It is played on a 5x5 board of colourful tiles. You strategically align them and interact with them in various ways to meet the exponentially higher target score every round.
It combines themes of colour theory, fishing, hell and heaven, and ancient mythology.
Getting to 100% of the achievements takes about 3,000 hours. Playtesters often message me that the game shows up in their dreams. Several said it cured their Balatro habit, because they are now hooked on this one instead.
Without spoilers, the story follows a fisherman, and you learn more about it the further you get.
It is a completely solo project. I made all of it myself.

Leaderboard
The best runs from the playtest so far. Scores use the game's own notation, so 8e28914 means 8 with 28,914 zeros after it. Hover or tap a run to see its final board.

The fog (dev) run was still in progress when these numbers were taken, so its round is where it stood then.
